1. What is Ethora / Arcanus?
Arcanus are an original semi-open species created by Velkss. They live on a planet called Ethora. An original species and setting you can make characters in, write stories for, and draw. See the World and Species guide pages to get oriented.
2. How do I get a character?
Two ways: design your own through the MYO Builder, or claim an existing character from the Masterlist. Check the MYO Guide before you start.
3. Is there an age requirement?
16+ to create an account and participate generally. 18+ specifically for anything involving real money — Ko-fi purchases, commissions, and adoptables. Full details on the Rules page.
4. Can I use AI-generated art or writing?
No. AI art and AI writing aren't allowed anywhere on the site — gallery, prompts, or masterlist submissions.
5. Do I own my character?
The Arcanus species itself belongs to Velkss, but you own any art and writing you make of your own character.
6. Can I resell a character?
Yes, for no more than what you originally paid for it.
7. How does Gold work?
Gold is earned through prompts and gallery bounties. It can't be bought or sold for real money.
8. What are content warnings for?
Gallery, Prompt, and Masterlist images can be tagged Gore, Horror, and/or Suggestive by the uploader. Tagged images blur with a warning until you click to view them. Moderators can add or change tags too.
9. Can I have more than one account?
No — one account per person.
