Azorius serves as Lord-Marshal of Stonehill Bastion, one of Karagor's most formidable strongholds. Throughout Ethora, he is known as a leader who values stability, consistency, and fairness above nearly everything else.

Unlike many rulers, Azorius has little interest in fame or personal legacy. He believes institutions matter more than individuals and spends much of his time strengthening laws, defenses, and civic systems that will endure long after his own lifetime.

This philosophy has earned him tremendous respect.

It has also earned him a reputation for being cold.

Many who meet Azorius for the first time mistake his reserved demeanor for indifference. He rarely raises his voice, rarely displays strong emotion, and rarely grants special treatment, even to friends. His supporters see this as proof of his integrity. His critics see it as proof that he lacks compassion.

The truth lies somewhere in between.

Azorius cares deeply about the people under his protection. He simply believes that a ruler's personal feelings should never outweigh fairness. To him, the moment laws bend for one person, they become weaker for everyone else.
